Ryan was born amid tours and farm visits. He had a difficult birth that was witnessed by a farm full of people. His dam was a first time mother, but she did excellent in both allowing assistance and in quickly recovering from the birth to jump into caring for her new baby.
Ryan’s dam is rank 1% in EPDs for mean curvature and she holds top 5% EPDs in many other categories. His dam is a 3x color champion who holds top 10% EPDs for staple length. Ryan’s fiber is maturing and he currently has very long staple length that is mixed with budles of what is turning into high frequency crimp.
He is very social, loves to give his human momma kisses, and is all boy in every other way.
Ryan’s color genotype is Ea Aa3 and he carries the classic grey gene. Ryan’s ASIP alleles show he has a brown allele that also carries black. His MC1R alleles show he has one dilution. This genotype combination tells us he can produce offspring in the full range of colors.
