When Wood-TV in Grand Rapids asked to come to the farm, we were more than eager to welcome them. What we didn’t realize was baby Otto was going to fall in love with the reporter Rachael Ruiz. And Otto wasn’t alone. Jalapena was just as smitten and wouldn’t leave her side.
I’ve always said alpacas are emotionally intuitive and they can sense good people. This visit was all the proof you need to believe that statement. Rachael loved the alpacas and they could feel that love. This is the perfect example of why we live the alpaca lifestyle and why we love raising alpacas as a business.
