The natural sock yarn has been independently tested to be 51.5% alpaca and 48.50% merino wool. The average diameter (softness) of the alpaca was 24.5 microns and the merino 21.8 microns. These percentages are calculated for the main yarn itself and before nylon or spandex has been added.
