Snowmass Royal Favor comes from a strong line of Snowmass producers and she carries top EDP rankings just like her dam and sire. She joins our breeding program to augment the show side of our alpaca herd.

Phenotype
Royal Favor is the entire package! She has oodles of crimp and her density is strong. We’ve delivered two of her offspring and each one was born with crimp and density that only continued to develop as the cria aged. Everyone who sees her babies expresses a loud wow, because they are that spectacular.
Color Genotype
Royal Favor’s color genotype is EeAA. Royal Favor’s ASIP alleles show she has brown alleles that do not carry black. Her MC1R alleles show she has one dilution. This genotype combination tells us she should produce offspring that is brown, fawn, or white.
Personality
Royal Favor is by default timid. You would think she wasn’t loving because of this, but she just needs time to warm up.
When she delivered her son Ben, she literally ran over to human mom and licked her all over her face as a thank you for helping. We’ve never had that happen before, but you could tell it was relief for the support. Alpacas are smart and the smart ones (like Royal Favor) sometimes need time to access their new home and settle in. Since doing so Royal Favor has gone from timid to loving and interactive. She has also grown into a farm favorite for her human mom!
