Snowmass Yvette Maria Lucia was born in 2024 to Snowmass Velvet Wedding and Snowmass Lover’s Sparta. Velvet Wedding produced the Color Champion at the AOA National Show in 2021 and Snowmass Lover’s Spartan holds three Color Champion banners, two Reserve Color Champion banners, and six first place ribbons.
This little lady is sweet as sweet can be. She runs to see you each time we enter into the paddock and she stays close by the entire time you’re out there. She is curious and really wants to be part of the group, but is smart enough to not intrude on the the adult females and their time with the humans.
Her fiber is beautiful! It has a long staple, high frequency crimp structure, lovely bundles, and it is bright. She is lacking density, but we know her age, cria coat, and long staple length is influencing this trait. We fully expect density to arrive after we shear and she matures.
