This scarf is a slightly different pattern than the other scarf made from Amara’s 2024 fiber harvest.
This handmade, true black alpaca scarf is made with locally grown fiber from Amara. Amara is our resident crazy girl who “beats to her own drum” and tends to stir the pot a bit (especially with her older sister Nibbler). And while Amara does tend to do what she wants, she made an excellent 4-H animal prior to starting her breeding career.
The fiber was processed into worsted weight yarn at a Northern Michigan mill, then handmade into a scarf by our industry friends Pat and Nancy.
