Alpaca Blankets and Throws

These luxurious alpaca blankets and throws are made from eco-friendly alpaca fiber. Alpaca throws are warm, soft to the touch, and lighter weight than comparable blankets. Alpaca blankets offer warmth that is perfect for snuggling on the couch or curling up in bed.

Alpaca is a favorite material for throws and blankets because it is as soft as cashmere, three times warmer than sheep’s wool, hypoallergenic, and sustainable. And since alpaca fiber comes in over 20 natural colors that includes variations of white, beige, fawn, brown, grey, and black, blankets can be made without chemicals and dyes.

While many of our products are made from 100% alpaca, we do offer blankets and throws that are blended with other materials like cotton or merino wool. Why mix alpaca with other materials? Cotton will provide loft to the blanket and make it extra fluffy and merino wool offers great memory to the fiber while maintaining warmth.

And a newer item is our American-made alpaca throw blankets that are produced using alpaca fiber straight from our farm. We’ve mixed this fiber with organic cotton to produce a lovely USA-made throw that feels like a big alpaca hug.
