Unlike standard alpacas which have fiber made up of one color, Miracle has a multitude of colors throughout her brown coat. From brown and grey to white, Miracle’s markings are distinct and they grow more plentiful as she ages. Miracle is the daughter of Lots of Bubbles, who is also multicolored alpaca.
Color Genotype: EEAe
Miracle’s ASIP alleles show she has a brown allele that also carries black. Her MC1R alleles shows she has no dilution. This genotype combination tells us Miracle will not produce white offspring, even when bred to a white male. Miracle will produce offspring that are dark fawn or darker and we expect her spots to carry through as well.
Personality
Miracle has an extremely calm and sweet personality. She was part of our 2021 4-H group and was a great companion to young Natalie. The two participated in showmanship and obstacle course competitions.
