Sara is the daughter is Faith and Leviticus. Her sire is a 2x color champion who offers significant staple length and longevity to his fineness, while her dam is a powerhouse of fiber production.
Sara is a beautiful mix of her parents in both personality and coloring. She has Faith’s gentle nature and Leviticus’ love of trouble. Sara was one of our first babies born in 2023 and she and her best friend Jessica have led the cria pen throughout the year.
Sara’s color genotype tested as Ee a2a3. Her ASIP alleles show she has black alleles in both locations. Her MC1R alleles show she has one dilution. This genotype combination tells us she can produce offspring in the full range of colors. Sara also carries the classic grey gene.
