Baby alpaca is used interchangeably with grade two alpaca in the USA. It is super soft, yet still easy to work with for both commercial and hand knit products like blankets, ponchos, hats, and scarves. Baby alpaca products will have a commercially tested micron count between 20 – 22.9.
