Grade 3 is also known as superfine alpaca and possesses a micron count between 23-25.9. Superfine alpaca products are less soft than baby alpaca, but still an excellent product that is soft and super versatile. It is more robust and it provides better memory and it works great for machine knitting socks, hats, gloves, and anything that needs a more durable wear.
