Pedigree
Kolette comes from a strong foundation of show alpacas with outstanding records. Her sire CSAF 38’s Mercury Rising has won four Champion banners, two Reserved Champion banners, and nine first place ribbons. Her dam SA Peruvian Black Klassique is a second-generation Peruvian import with 4Peruvian Black Magic and 5Peruvian Klassique Grey as her sire and dam.
Kolette holds top 15% EPD ratings for 2022.
Personality
Kolette is a sweet girl who likes to spend time with her best friends Gidget and Razz. They are often running around the paddock and causing trouble among the pregnant ladies. Kolette has been training for the 4-H fair with our youth group and she has performed remarkably. She is easily trained and eager to please as she stands for judging and performs obstacle course activities.
Color Genotype: EE a3a1
Kolette’s ASIP alleles show she has a black allele in both locations. Her MC1R alleles show she has no dilution. This genotype combination tells us she cannot produce light colored offspring. She will produce offspring that are dark fawn or darker, with a tendency for darker colors. Kolette also covers the classic grey gene, which makes her a wonderful addition to any grey breeding program.
