This true black shawl was made from Onyx's 2022 fiber. The baby alpaca fiber was processed into yarn that was crocheted by local artisans Pat and Nancy. This handmade item is Michigan-grown and Michigan-made.
Who is Onyx? Onyx is one of our female alpacas who is the mother of Silver Monte and Auburn. Onyx has a sweet personality and she is an excellent mother. We purchased Onyx four years ago with alpacas Nibbler and Heartthrob. Onyx and Heartthrob are still best friends and will be found eating, napping, and raising their crias together. If you visit our farm Onyx will be one of the first alpacas to greet you outside the store.
